We're an independent, Birmingham-run guide covering the Magic City and the suburbs over the mountain: Homewood, Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills, Hoover, Trussville and beyond. Our lists cover food, drinks, things to do and the local pros people trust.

What makes us different

• Dated and maintained. Every list shows the date it was last checked, and we remove places that close.
